Carlyle Grade School would like to congratulate Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Wreath on having their donor's choice project paid for by Horace Mann's own Kristen Workman. We want to say thank you to Kristen for funding these two teachers on their school projects.

Sometimes you just need to move around a little to learn! Third grade was “scooting” around their hallway make plural nouns this morning.

Kindergarten celebrated Zz day by “zipping” over to the city park for recess today. We also had Zebra Cakes for snack. ABC Bootcamp is complete!! Friday will be our ABC parade!

This week Mrs. Nave’s engineers are building paper bridges. When the bridges fail, they try new ideas to make them stronger. There has been some AMAZING thinking happening!

Congratulations to the September Star Students: Kindergarten - Paisley, 1st Grade - Gunner, 2nd Grade - Ayden, 3rd Grade - Ruby and 4th Grade - Bristol.

Carlyle Kindergarten learned the letter "Rr" today so we painted rocks to add to the "Kindness Rock Garden" at the Carlyle Suspension Bridge!



Second grade scientists finished up their unit on using their 5 senses to observe by making scratch and sniff bookmarks!
