Today’s spotlight is on Mrs. Haleigh Grapperhause. She is a kindergarten and 1st grade resource teacher. She has been in education for 8 years - 3 at Central City and 5 in Carlyle. She loves taking trips with her family and reading books. Her husband’s name is Garett and they’ve been married for 5 years. They have two daughters and their names are Shae (3) and Paige who is 10 months. They built and moved into their new house last summer. She also coaches tumbling at Studio 50 and still likes to do flips with the tumblers.
We shine the spotlight today on Ms. Brooke Smith. She is our 3rd grade special education teacher. She has been in education for 14 years. She was a teacher’s aide for 3 years and has been a teacher for 11 years. She loves traveling and going to National Parks and crafting. She lives in Carlyle with her two kids, Mabry and McCoy and their dog, Stanley. She’s from Arkansas and loves the Razorbacks, Woo Pig Sooie.
We would like to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Susan Howard today!! She is our early childhood teacher here at CGS. She has taught for 15 years. This is her 3rd year here at CGS. She has also taught kindergarten, 5th, and 6th grades. She loves spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, and traveling to the beach with her family. Her husband’s name is Mike and they’ve been married for 10 years. Annabelle is 7 and in the 2nd grade and Beckett is 5 and in kindergarten. They live in Beckemeyer. She is also a Carlyle alumni!!!

Today we shine the spotlight on Mrs. Bridget Wuebbles. She is our speech language pathologist. She has been in education for 24 years. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. She is married to Eric and they have 3 children. Their names are Caitlyn, Jacob, and Sam. She has a goal to visit all 63 national parks!!!

Today’s spotlight is on Mrs. Jill Schilling. She is a 4th grade special education teacher and has been teaching for 21 years. She loves cooking, baking, and raising a garden. She’s been married for 21 years and has 2 daughters. Karlie is 17 and Kate is 13 and her husband’s name is Tracy. She taught early childhood for 16 years before changing to 4th grade. She has also met 2 US Presidents!!

Today’s staff spotlight is on Ms. Tara Benhoff. She is a first year teacher and teaches in our STAR program. She was a paraprofessional for 5 years. She likes to play golf and hang out with her nieces and nephews. She has 3 brothers, 1 sister, 4 nephews, and 5 nieces!!
