Carlyle FFA members plan to hold a meeting on Oct. 16 in the Carlyle High School
cafeteria to discuss new career development events, upcoming conferences, and the results from
last month’s events.
Members will also participate in a pumpkin painting and costume contest.
Adviser Tamra Gerstenecker plans to provide the pumpkins from her garden at home, and
all other materials will be provided by the FFA.
Teachers from CHS will vote to decide winners, and prizes will be awarded for the best
costume and the best painted pumpkins.
The November meeting will be held on Nov. 21 in the CHS cafeteria at 6 p.m.
