Carlyle High School National Honor Society plans to host their annual fall Red Cross
blood drive on Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Carlyle High School Harriss
Gymnasium.
Donors can schedule an appointment in advance with an NHS member or arrive during
the drive to donate. They can also complete any prereading and donation questions online using
Rapid Pass.
Donors may give blood every 56 days, up to six times a year. All potential donors must
be in good health and feeling well, be at least 16 years old, and weigh at least 110 lbs. A full list
of requirements can be found on the Red Cross website.
