Parent teacher conferences will be held at Carlyle High School on Oct. 23 and 30 from 4-

7:30 p.m.

Parents can schedule conferences by calling the office to see what times are available to

meet with the teacher.

“I think communication is really important between home to school because we all have

the same main goal. We all want the student to be successful,” social worker Sarah Loepker said.

According to Loepker, if a parent can’t make it to the conference the best and easiest way

for them to get in touch with the teacher is through email.

Parents and guardians can regularly check student grades on PowerSchool. If they do not

currently have access to the account, parents and guardians can contact the main office to get

their student’s specific code.

“I think every parent should try to go, even if they think their student is a really good

student,” said Loepker, “Everyone can benefit from talking to teachers about their student.”
