Sophomores are selling four different varieties of kettle korn from Oct. 17 through Nov. 7

to help pay for the 2027 prom.

The kettle korn flavors include original, kettle and caramel mix, chocolate and kettle mix,

and caramel apple and are being provided by a local business called The Gourmet Kettle

Company.

Class members are also selling pork rinds. Those flavors include barbeque, buffalo ranch,

and applewood.

Each bag of kettle corn costs $12 and each bag of pork rinds costs $7. The class will

make a 40% profit from the kettle korn sales and 30% profit from the pork rind sales.

The first deposit for the 2027 prom must be paid in early May 2026. This fundraiser

typically covers the deposit according to sophomore class sponsor Gina Shook.

“The class officers help pick the flavors every year and also help me set the dates for the

two times we will sell the product,” Shook said.

The class will also sell pork rinds and kettle korn in March.
