The Marching Indians placed third in the St. Louis Marching Band Festival competition
at Belleville West on Oct. 25.
The 20 band members and six color guard members practiced every Tuesday throughout
the season to prepare for this competition.
They showcased their 2025 field show, The Redbrick Road, during halftime at football
games and at two band competitions this year.
“Our goal in competing was to do the best with what we had since we were missing five
members,” drum major MaryAnn Brown said.
The show included “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Judy Garland, “Goodbye
Yellowbrick Road” by Elton John, and "No One Mourns the Wicked” from the Broadway
musical “Wicked”.
This was the final time The Marching Indians performed for the season.
