Nineteen Carlyle High School juniors and seniors will be inducted into the National
Honor Society on Nov. 10.
The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes high school students for
excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
To be asked to join this organization, students must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative
GPA, and upon being asked, students must pass the application process reviewed by committee
teachers.
At the ceremony, students will sign the official school NHS book. 2025-2026 officers
Meghan Edwards, Addie Gansaur, Abigail Steinkamp, Cameryn Pollmann, and Alannah
Sarclette will be sworn in at this time.
After induction, students will participate in various projects and activities roughly once
per month. They will also be expected to maintain the four pillars of the NHS.
New members include Olivia Abraham, Kailyn Alexander, Maggie Bass, Ethan
Brinkmann, M. K. Broughton, Mary Ann Brown, Cooper Deikemper, Amelia Eller, Seth Fruend,
Abigail Gore, Janaya Hammond, Ella Jordan, Brooke Kleiboeker, Ava Meyer, Gannon Meyer,
Collin Mullett, Caden Schneider, Mabry Smith, and Landry Steinkamp.
