Carlyle High School celebrated National FFA week from Feb. 23-27 to provide an
opportunity for members and others in the school that may not be a part of the club to celebrate
FFA’s impact in the school.
National FFA Week is a nationwide celebration of agricultural education and leadership
organized by the National FFA Organization.
Dress up days are planned for each school day during FFA Week.
On Monday, students celebrated Farmer's Day Off by wearing pajamas. Tuesday was
Frat v. Farmer Day, and Wednesday is Camo or Country Singer Day. Thursday is Twin Day, and
Friday is National Blue and Corn Gold Day.
The leadership team is broken up into different committee chairs.
FFA members signed up for the committees individually. During the committee
meetings, students brainstormed ideas and then solidified plans.
Senior Alannah Sarclette co-chaired the AG Olympics and the service project
committees.
“I am personally looking forward to the AG Olympics because I love seeing the different
grades work together to try and win, and I also enjoy seeing the games we planned come to life
and be enjoyed,” Sarclette said.
