Carlyle High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter is celebrating their spring T-Shirt release that highlighted a spring and inclusion design.
Over 140 shirts were ordered and made by the FBLA chapter during this campaign.
All proceeds from this shirt release went to the Carlyle Grade School for the building of an all-inclusive playground.
“We are so grateful to everyone who purchased shirts and helped support our community service project for the new CGS playground,” adviser Bridget McConnell said.
The chapter was able to raise a little over $3,000 in total. This money was raised from the
combination of the Daddy-daughter dance, t-shirt sales, and the tattoo a teacher fundraiser that the chapter put on.
“Our members have worked diligently this year raising money and awareness for this cause. It is great to see their hard work pay off by being able to make a large donation,” McConnell said.
