The Eastern Civilization history class and history teacher Jesse Derber will be traveling
to the Missouri Botanical Gardens on April 24.
The Botanical Gardens will help connect students to the traditional Japanese and Chinese
gardens that they learned about in class.
“I’m excited for students to enjoy a new experience,” Derber said.
This field trip will allow students to see how ancient ideas can be used to beautify the
world today.
Derber is very excited for students to experience the field trip because it connects what
they have learned in class to the real world.
