Carlyle High School Future Business Leaders of America will go to the R.P. Lumber
Center in Edwardsville for ice skating, dinner, and an award ceremony to celebrate this year's
achievements and reflect on a successful year on April 20.
The event will highlight the many accomplishments of the FBLA members and recognize
the chapter’s continued growth and success throughout the year.
“We want to thank all of the parents and guardians who have supported our members and
chapter this year,” FBLA Adviser Bridget McConnell said, “Their encouragement has played a
big role in our success.”
The program has seen steady growth in recent years, with membership increasing
significantly over the past four years.
This upward trend reflects a growing interest in leadership, business skills and
competitive opportunities among students at Carlyle High School.
In addition to recognizing achievements, the event is designed to give members time to
unwind after a busy and productive year.
“This is a great opportunity for our members to relax, connect with peers and be
recognized for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year,” McConnell said.
The evening is expected to bring together students in a celebration that not only honors
their accomplishments but also strengthens connections within the chapter as they look ahead to
future success.
