Carlyle High School FFA members and advisers plan to hold a petting zoo on April 24 at
Carlyle Lake’s Celebrate the Earth Event.
A total of 25 FFA members will be bringing their own animals or assisting with
agriculture education projects at this event.
“There will be pigs, calves, goats, and ducks,” FFA member Maddy Rae Schomaker said.
The Carlyle FFA has been a part of Earth Day at Carlyle Lake for over 20 years now.
“We love helping in the community and getting to educate students,” FFA adviser
Courtney Ibendahl said.
