On May 24th, Maverick Danback was recognized as Carlyle High School's Outstanding Welding Student Nominee! Each year the St. Louis branch of the American Welding Association hosts an Outstanding Welding Student Recognition Night to honor those who are the top welding students in High Schools, Technical Training Programs, and Colleges within the STL AWS region. Ms. Millburg nominated Maverick because of his consistent efforts in class to not only learn the basics of welding, but to improve his skills and take any opportunity presented to him to learn above and beyond what has been presented in class. Congratulations Maverick, and thank you to the St. Louis American Welding Society for hosting this event!
