🎉 Happy American Enterprise Day! 🇺🇸 Today, 12 of our FBLA students visited K-2 classrooms at CGS to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that drives America, a day established by President Jimmy Carter in 1980. 💡 Here’s how they made the day special: 📖 They read The Donut Chef, a fun tale about a chef who discovers the key to success is staying true to his passion and making his customers happy. 🍩 🎨 Creative Fun: The little entrepreneurs designed their own donuts on coloring sheets! 💬 Big Ideas: Students showcased their creations and brainstormed donut business ideas together. We’re so proud of these young leaders for inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers! ✨

The Carlyle High School Girl's Volleyball team held a "PInk Out" game against their cross-county rivals the Wesclin Lady Warriors earlier in the season. The money they received from the 50/50 raffel and t-shirts all went to Stacey Albers. Stacy is the grandmother of Olivia Weigman, who is a freshman on the team. Ms. Albers then donated all the money to Hooterfest admin Lynn Lammers. The senior volleyball team presented Stacey with a $900 check that was then givne to Lynn Lammers. Pictured L to R seated Lynn Lammers (administrator of Hooterfest), Stacey Albers, Olivia Wiegmann (chs vb player and granddaughter of Stacey), and Aggie Netemeyer (friend/supporter for Stacey) L to R standing (senior vb players) Daisy Brammeier, Lera Schmeink, Raelyn Harris, Avery Eversgerd, Jacie Persing and McKenna Reckling.
