Mrs. Nave's 3rd graders started a science unit this week about soil and composting. They've already read a couple of books and received their very own "dirt babies" (pictured below). Thanks to Mrs. Brinkmann and a project grant from the Farm Bureau, the class is going to be using their very own composter to create some nutrient rich soil. The class hopes to be able to plant something in the soil that is created.

B is for bubbles in first grade. We are counting down the days of school using the alphabet!




2nd graders experimenting with water and erosion. The sounds coming from this classroom are amazing. Learning is so fun!




Kindergarten ABC countdown to finish the year. Aa is for artist day. Students created art projects at home to share in class.


Bb is for bubbles. Kindergarten had a great time blowing bubbles on Friday in the yard in front of the nursing home. The residents were able to watch from the window too.

A great way to start the week!! A Caught Being Good Award given to Kaiden for being a great friend!!!

Hawaiian / Beach day yesterday was a huge success. They met another goal for Jump Rope 4 Heart!!



Another fabulous Friday morning!! Kassidy earning a Caught Being Good Award this morning!! She was being a great friend!!

First grade students completed a “cloud in a cup” experiment and created rain!




It was a pleasure to hand out this Caught Being Good Award this morning on this rainy day. Brayden is always a pleasant student here at school.
