On May 24th, Maverick Danback was recognized as Carlyle High School's Outstanding Welding Student Nominee!
Each year the St. Louis branch of the American Welding Association hosts an Outstanding Welding Student Recognition Night to honor those who are the top welding students in High Schools, Technical Training Programs, and Colleges within the STL AWS region. Ms. Millburg nominated Maverick because of his consistent efforts in class to not only learn the basics of welding, but to improve his skills and take any opportunity presented to him to learn above and beyond what has been presented in class.
Congratulations Maverick, and thank you to the St. Louis American Welding Society for hosting this event!

Every mile, every throw, every jump, it all leads to greatness. 🙌

Update: It's found a new home!
We recently found a Carlyle High School diploma from May 28, 1909, awarded to Essa Apple, tucked away in our school’s storage.
If you’re a relative of Essa (Apple) Keister (or know someone who is), we’d love to help you reclaim this piece of family and school history. Please get in touch with our front office to arrange pickup.

Good luck to our Indians at Murphysboro today! 💪
