Writing for Publications students get an inside look at the broadcast studios of SIUE during a special event arranged by broadcast engineer Theresa Pauli and SIUE graduate student Chloe Wolfe on March 18. During the campus visit, students also spoke with Dr. Musonda Kapatamoyo, broadcast engineer Ben Moyer, and Alestle graphics manager and podcast producer Sam Muren.
 SIUE instructor Cory Byers teaches senior Addie Gansauer to position the camera and teleprompter.
Senior Mary Ann Brown controls the teleprompter's pace for her peers on camera. Junior Maggie Bass watched and waited for her turn at the controls.
SIUE graduate student Chloe Wolfe shows Maggie Bass, Brooke Kleiboeker, Kamille Salyers, and Katie Rakers the control room for the broadcast studio. Students learned to adjust the sound and lights while their peers prepared for the mock broadcast.
