STATE BOUND! Junior Lera Schmeink and Freshman Alivia Allison are going to IHSA Class 1A Track & Field State. Lera will compete in the 100m and 200m. Alivia will compete in Shot Put. State will be at Eastern Illinois University May 16-18. Congratulations Lera and Alivia!

It was a big weekend for the CHS StuCo at the IASC state convention.
Today at the Illinois Association of Student Councils 90th annual State Convention, CHS junior, Faith Weaver, was elected to be the 2024-25 state 2nd Vice President. CONGRATULATIONS FAITH!!!
The Life Skills class would like to send a huge THANK YOU to all the community members, students, and staff that contributed to our fundraisers this year. Students were able to practice budgeting, finding the best deal, money, geography, science, planning, social skills, and so much more! With the fundraising money, students were able to buy tickets to the St.Louis Aquarium and The Wheel at Union Station. They were even able to get some ice cream at Soda Fountain! It was a phenomenal educational experience that the students could not have done without your generosity. Thank you to all!
