F/S boys basketball games at home vs Hillsboro are cancelled.
Wrestling @Highland start time 6:30 pm
Tomorrow, Monday, January 22nd will be an E-Learning Day for all three schools. The current forecast is calling for the freezing rain/ice to arrive about the same time that our buses and students would be on the roads traveling to school. With this being our first E-Learning day of the year, I wanted to share a few important reminders- Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade please find Day 1 of your E-Learning Day packets. Packets were sent home last week. Grades 3rd-12th will need to log on to Google Classroom. Teachers will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to help assist students with their work. Students in Life Skills class visited the West and East locations of Community Link. They toured the facilities and learned about their programs. And of course, made a quick stop to Dairy King in Breese for some flavored soda.

* Okawville Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament is on as scheduled; Carlyle vs Gibault at 6:00 pm today
* Wrestling at EAWR is canceled
We have been monitoring the weather situation throughout the day. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Due to the extreme cold and and forecasted snowfall overnight, Carlyle CUSD #1 will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th. This will be a snow day, not an e-learning day. Stay warm!

*The preliminary freshmen game has been cancelled.
*4:30 pm JV game (7-minute quarters)
*6 pm Varsity game

Friday ended Student Council's Countdown to Christmas. If students participated in 8 out of 10 dress up days, they were entered in a raffle for 25 prizes. Congratulations to Maggie Bass and Anna Albers, who won bluetooth speakers!
