Are you interested in performing, but don't know how to get into it? Well color guard is for you! We are seeking out students 6th-12th grade who want to have fun and perform for crowds at school and community events. You don't have to have experience just bring a good attitude and spirit.
We are having open gym at the jr high gym (subject to change based on cleaning schedule) for June 25th and 26th for those that would like to try it. We will have a parent meeting June 26th at 7:45 pm after rehearsal to talk to everyone about details and expectations of the program. For open gym you will need to bring water, tennis shoes, and clothes you can move in. If you can't make those days or have any more questions please contact Mrs. Watts, hwatts@carlyle1.org.

Attention 2024 Seniors! Your Diplomas and Final Transcripts are available for pick at the High School office starting today until 12:00. Next week you can pick them up Tuesday-Friday until 3:00pm. After Friday we will send the ones not pick up in the mail.
Spring Sports Athletic Recognition Night
On Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM we will host the spring sports athletic recognition night for all 2024 spring athletes at Carlyle High School. We will recognize athletes in the following sports: track, softball and baseball. We will all meet together at 7:00 PM in Harriss Gymnasium to present special awards. After all special awards are presented, we will break up into groups so each coach can talk in depth about his/her respective season and pass out letters and certificates. All spring athletes and his/her parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be available. All athletes must bring uniforms to turn in if you have not already done so.

The Carlyle Class 2A IHSA baseball regional semifinal game scheduled for today (Wesclin vs Althoff) will be played at Roy E. Lee Field at Simmons Baseball Complex at SIU-E. First pitch is 4:30 pm.
Several juniors received IHSA Scholastic Achievement Awards today. These students earned a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and participated in at least one IHSA interscholastic activity this year.
As the end of the school year is coming to a close, please check with your students and their PowerSchool portal about any lunch balances. Please ensure that if your student has any outstanding balance that it gets paid to the office before their last day of school! Thank you!!
