Autism Acceptance Month is dedicated to fostering understanding, promoting inclusion, and celebrating the neurodiversity of autistic individuals. The month focuses on advocacy, education, and supporting research.

Attention Grades K-5: Experience glow in the dark painting with the CHS Art Club on Wednesday, April 8th at Carlyle High School!
Participants will receive guidance on how to make two different paintings on paper.

Starting tomorrow, students in all grade levels at CJHS will begin taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), as well as the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). Testing sessions will be taking place in both the morning and afternoons. It is important that students arrive to school on time and well-rested each day so that they can do as well as possible on the tests. Thank you for your help!

We would like to congratulate our Region 7 Class L Regional champions!! We are so proud of you and good luck at state. Their next game will be on March 28 at 11 AM at Pinckneyville High School.

Congratulations to Carlyle High School student Cameryn Pollmann and to Carlyle Jr High School student Keira Gregg. Both students were honored at the annual IPA (Illinois Principals Association) Student Recognition Breakfast!

A PTO Fundraiser Event!

State Representative Charlie Meier came and visited some of our students during 2nd period today! We are honored and appreciative that he took time out of his schedule to come talk to our students. Charlie shared stories about his early entry into politics and emphasized to students that they should never give up on their dreams.


The last home volleyball game of the regular season is tonight!

CJHS will be hosting the Girls Volleyball SIJHSAA regional.

Mr. Wellen's classes and Ms. Nation's classes got together to work on peer editing of persuasive essays this week!
