We are excited to announce our Halloween Dance at the Jr. High is scheduled for Friday, October 24th. The 5/6 grade dance is from 3:30pm-4:30pm and the 7/8 grade dance is from 5pm-6pm. There is a $5.00 admission fee. Soda, water, popcorn, candy and pizza will all be available to purchase. There will be prizes for the best individual costume and best group costume. We are looking forward to having a great night of fun!

5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball practice will begin on Monday, September 15th. They will practice Monday-Friday (9/15-9/19) from 3:15-4:30.

We’ve just wrapped up our first two weeks of school! We're so proud of how quickly our students are settling into routines, building friendships, and being excited about learning.

We have focused on getting to know each other, learning classroom expectations, and creating a supportive and respectful school community. It’s been fun to see students helping one another, showing kindness, and being curious in the classroom.

Thank you for all your support at home—it truly makes a difference. We are looking forward to the weeks ahead as we continue to grow, learn, and have fun together.

Jr. High Open House is tonight, Thursday, August 14th, from 6:00-7:00 pm. Students will receive their schedule with their locker assignment and lock combination when they arrive! Each grade level will have their own table that they can visit to acquire their schedule of classes, which will also have their assigned locker and lock combination.
The 8th grade table will be located across the hall from the CJHS office.
The 5th, 6th and 7th grade tables will be located in the CJHS cafeteria.
We are excited to get students back into the building and to begin the 2025-2026 school year! Don't forget to bring your school supplies with you!
5th and 6th grade students please bring your school supplies into your classroom.
7th and 8th grade students can drop off their school supplies in the CJHS library.
