The CJHS Girls Basketball game at Mt Vernon on Thursday evening has been canceled due to Mt. Vernon canceling school. The CJHS Boys home game Thursday is still scheduled to be played at this time.
The tentative dates set for 5-8 grade girls volleyball tryouts is Jan 20th-22nd, 23rd if needed. Sports physical MUST be current to tryout.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th, will be a Snow Day for Carlyle CUSD #1. While the main roads are clear, many rural areas are still covered in ice. We hope for some sunshine to improve conditions and return our students to the classrooms on Thursday. Thank you for your understanding!

Snow Day- Due to poor road conditions on the side streets and country roads, we are canceling school for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th. We are more than ready to have our classrooms full again, but enjoy your extra time to play in the snow.

The CHS Art Club is selling door hangers to raise money for their annual field trip! Order forms are available in the CHS office, and must be returned by the end of Wednesday, December 11th. Our annual Veteran's Day recognition event takes place tomorrow morning! We are proud to announce that we will have over 60 former and current members of the military in attendance for our event. We are asking all CJHS students to wear Red, White, and Blue to help make the day special for all of the Veterans and Active Service Members who will be in attendance tomorrow.

They wanted to do another low-cost sale that would deliver by Christmas in order to offer the community practical and affordable Christmas gift options.
