Our Career and Technical Education Work-Based Learning students had their first professional interview day with various mentors from numerous industries. They participated in a meet-and-greet portion, mock professional interview, story sharing and advice feedback conversations of the day.

Congrats to Carlyle senior Rhettick Steinkamp for signing to continue his baseball career at University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis. Steinkamp has been a starting varsity catcher at Carlyle since his sophomore year. CHS is very proud of you!!

The CHS Art Club is selling door hangers to raise money for their annual field trip! Order forms are available in the CHS office, and must be returned by the end of Wednesday, December 11th. Section 21 Agronomy Champions!! 💙💛
Congratulations to the Carlyle FFA Agronomy Team for placing 1st in the Section 21 Agronomy CDE hosted by Kaskaskia College. Members were tested on their knowledge of seed ID, weed ID, insect ID, grain and forage judging ring classes and a general knowledge test over Agronomy areas.
Placing overall 1st individual - Ella Jordan, 4th individual - Hunter Rich, and 6th individual - Cooper Diekemper and other team memebrs were Sawyer Johnson, Kailyn Alexander and Alayna Smith. Hunter will receive a 6 Credit hour scholarship to KC. Thank you Kaskaskia College Ag department for hosting a great contest!
Senior Goalkeeper Matthew Guthrie was presented with a Game Ball for his record setting high school soccer career at the Fall Sports Recognition Night. Guthrie is the IHSA All-Time Career Saves Record Holder with 1110 Career Saves. Awesome high school soccer career! Congratulations Matthew!
