We would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Excel Bottling Company for donating all of the ski for the Athletic Boosters raffle. Additionally, they are going to offer a punch card to the winner. This way the winner will have the choice of either taking the entire pallet of ski at one time, or will be able to pick up a few cases at a time until all 52 are picked up.
Thanks to everyone who has purchased tickets already, we sold out of our first round of tickets and will have more available to buy early next week. Tickets can be purchased from any Athlete or by contacting the High School office.

The girl's game @ Central tomorrow for the PAWS shootout is still scheduled to be played.

Tomorrow Friday, Jan. 10th will be an E-Learning Day for students. Though we have seen improvements in the road conditions, with the pending forecast of 3 to 4 additional inches of snow on top of current road conditions, we are yet again concerned about travel. We will be ready to start fresh next week! Thank you again for your understanding this week as we have had to navigate the weather challenges.

We were very hopeful that we would be able to resume classes tomorrow. Unfortunately, we have not seen enough improvement in the rural road conditions. As a result, we will be utilizing an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th.
We recognize the challenges this week has posed for some of our families and assure everyone that these decisions are not made lightly. Buses and young drivers on ice covered roads (in very low temperatures) are not a good combination. Information regarding E-Learning was texted and emailed out to families. Thank you once again for your understanding.

The boy's basketball game scheduled for tomorrow night at Central and the girl's game at home vs Red Bud have both been cancelled for tomorrow night. No makeup date has been scheduled as of yet…

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th, will be a Snow Day for Carlyle CUSD #1. While the main roads are clear, many rural areas are still covered in ice. We hope for some sunshine to improve conditions and return our students to the classrooms on Thursday. Thank you for your understanding!
